If your bride to be is glued to Top Chef, she will surely love this idea for her bachelorette.  “Parties that Cook” is the latest way to have private cooking classes in the privacy of your home.  It’s an unforgettable way to spend the evening with your gal pals.

 

 

They have a variety of classes, but the ones that work best for bachelorette parties are “sumptuous small plates” – a cooking party that serves dishes cocktail-style, “the chef’s table” – a delicious four course sit down party, and “the feast of chocolate and fondue” – need I say more?! I always saying that getting ready with my friends over champagne, is usually more fun that the party itself.  So, I absolutely flipped when I found out about Spa On Location. The genius, Maria Aparis, is behind this cool new concept in spa-ing.

 

Spa On Location will convert your home, backyard, apartment, or whatever, into a luxurious day spa.  This makes a for a great bachelorette party for a few reasons.  One, you can have your friends feel at ease at your home.  Second, if you decide that you want an extra treatment or two (a problem I often have when visiting the spa) Maria can almost always accommodate you. And, lastly, you can save money on food and cocktails, leaving more dollars to be spent on spa treatments – love it!

Tea Time!

Not all bachelorette parties have to involve strippers hanging from chandeliers. Having tea is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon in honor of your special Bride-to-be....

One of my favorite places for a classic English Tea is Paddington's Tea Room in Beverly Hills.  Located off the stylish Robertson Blvd, Paddington's makes a great addition to a bachelorette weekend in LA or stand alone charming tea party.

Their high tea features many delightful treats, my favorite is the Scone with Devonshire Cream and Jam - not to be missed! 

 

They have charming decor and the staff is very sweet and accomidating.  The space is large enough for 35 ladies if you squeeze, but 32 ladies fit very nicely.  So don your Sunday best, and cozy up for some tea, sandwiches, and chit chat with your favorite girls!

 

Classy Lady's Party....

If your bride to be is a little more Bree Van de Kamp and a little less Gaby Solis a spa day package is the perfect bachelorette party for this lovely lady.

 

The best spa I have found for this type of bachelorette party is Nob Hill Spa in

San Francisco, Ca

What I love about this bachelorette suite is the breathtaking view of Grace Cathedral.
